Away on Boxing Day AGAIN apparently.

Well there’s a fucking shock.

I think a trip to Anfield is an immense way to open the season. Bound to be moved from the 3pm though.

Re: PL fixtures
Not got any problem with people hating the board. I wanted Kia Joorabchian over the current lot.

Can't stand the snidey hypocritical shitcunts that will squirm and pretend things matter when they really on't. Not a dig at you BTW.

Re: PL fixtures
Not funny at all, the OS is a shit hole and the board have shown themselves to be lying fleecing cunts so hardly any people have patience with them anymore.

What’s funny is that people still seem confused why people hate the board.

Not sure about lying but I agree they can't win either way. No-one gave a flying fuck when it wasn't regular at UP. Funny, that.

Re: PL fixtures
I don’t mind the idea of a ‘big’ team away first up after a World Cup.
Hopefully the likes of Firmino and Mane are playing deep in the tournament and Ramos gets the chance to kill Salah this time

Am going to be in Australia over Christmas so quite pleased that Watford is the only home game I will miss.

Being a season ticket holder who lives in Southampton I'm pretty pleased with the "home" draw on boxing day!

Re: PL fixtures
nope I turn up in all of those.

the problem with boxing day was the lack of trains and lack of energy in the crowd (ok that happens at other times too, admittledly)_

Re: PL fixtures
I don't get the obsession with Boxing Day at home - I hated them - no trains so have to drive, lunchtime kick off usually - shit atmosphere always, would rather be slumped eating leftovers and having a beer. Personally I'd be thrilled if we never have another home boxing day match. Just because it is "tradition" doesnt make it good. Appreciate for those who can get to away matches (who have the points) its a pain, but you have the points already precisely because you do put the effort in for away matches.

I am less thrilled about new years day. I go to bed so late and usually have a hangover. Last thing I want to do is go out and watch us...

Re: PL fixtures
I think we've only played at home on boxing day twice in the last 10 years:

2009 - Portsmouth
2013 - Arsenal

OS or not, that's just fucking shit

Can't argue with that which is why the club are lying about it being pure chance we've had 3 years with consecutive away games.

Re: PL fixtures
not a bad thing playing strong sides early imo...we were miles off Liverpool last season though so lets hope under Pellegrini we put up a fight

Re: PL fixtures
Jaan ... Agree that you wander easily before a game but ridiculously they make it difficult to walk to stadium by not allowing access via the walkway near the Cow. similarly after matches you can go in but make it difficult ...

Westfield isn’t closed off, I have walked through there plenty, but my point was because the whole area will likely be ram packed - roads and parking, Trainlines too.

Could have been worse though. Imagine if that was the first fixture AND the cunts had won the European Cup.
